Giving is Making a Difference
As a member of the Canterbury
School community, it is
important to know that our children are the beneficiaries of the
generosity of many people. Only with the continued support by families and
community friends will Canterbury
build upon the school’s exceptional start.
In 15 years countless parents, grandparents, and friends have generously
donated their capital as well as their gifts of time and expertise to help
found, sustain and grow this very special school. Like all independent schools, financial
support beyond tuition revenue is necessary to provide for the future. In order
to balance the priority of reasonable tuition with the need to provide
competitive staff salaries and benefits along with exceptional educational
programs for our children, it is necessary for
Canterbury to seek revenue in addition to
tuition.
Canterbury
receives no financial support from federal, state or local governments or the
Episcopal Church. The only sources of income above and beyond tuition are:

Thanks to the wonderful generosity of the Canterbury School community, we exceeded our Campaign’s $5,000,000 goal and raised over $6,000,000. Funds will be used to build a permanent home for the arts and to increase the school’s endowment. This campaign has been a team effort and a remarkable accomplishment. Thank you to all of the donors and volunteers for their generous support.
